ZOOT Zoot Ultra CompressRx Thermal Arm Warmers
We must proclaim our love for the portable warmth of arm warmers, because we rely on warmers during most months of the year. The reason is simple. Most of our rides often involve long, winding trips into high elevations where we sweat it out on the way to the top and then, if unprepared, freeze on the way down. Thankfully, though, the Zoot Ultra CompressRx Thermal Arm Warmers take the benefits of arm warmers one step further by offering fatigue-lessening, recovery-aiding compression in addition to warmth.
The Ultra CompressRx Arm Warmers use Zoot's SynchroRx Thermal fabric to trap warm air against the skin, providing an 11-degree boost in surface temperature. Additionally, Zoot's CompressRx fabric creates graduated compression that improves blood flow back to the heart. The compression is highest around the wrist, reducing to lower compression toward the bicep and upper arm. Think of it as squeezing a tube of toothpaste from the bottom-up. Ultimately, this design lessens muscle fatigue by improving blood flow as well as by minimizing muscle oscillation from jarring roads. Further along the lines of the latter, Zoot's ZoneRx fabric covers the bicep in order to provide additional muscle support that combats road vibration.
The Zoot Ultra CompressRx Thermal Arm Warmers feature a Silver Tech treatment that prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria. The warmers are available in the color Black and in six sizes from 0 to 5.
