We sell a fair amount of these and there must be a good reason. WTB is not a big company and doesn't have much of an advertising budget, so when their stuff sells, it's because people are talking it up. The Laser is popular with all sorts of riders because it is so accommodating. Shorter and wider than a XC racing saddle, it's still narrower than a DH saddle ( Laser dimensions are 147mmx 269mm). The padding is more ample than a race saddle but not a lounge chair. "Laser V" is stitched onto the nose, both for looks and short-grabbing gription.

Don't long miles hurt enough already?

Best Saddle Ever

I have a hardtail bike which is not always comfortable and majority of time you can't rest on the saddle. However, this saddle absorbs bumps so easily, its almost like you are on a partial full suspension bike.
