Wow, super burly fabric. Features are top notch. 4 stars due to not totally sold on limited pockets. But very stylish and tough fabric. Wrist gators are nice and it has mesh on pit zips. Sizing seems right, its like my XXL Mirage. I got an XL vapor to go over my body armor. Absynthe color is like blue/green. really i like it. Skin pockets and recoo finish it out. Riri zips are the best. So all in all just need some pow

Love the coat! Excellent material and construction. However, this coat is a lot baggier than I expected. I am always a L (5'10" 205lbs athletic) but the extra space in this coat is too much. I'm all for layering but I don't need this much space. I'll be returning this one and trying out a Medium. Other than that, GREAT SHELL!!

I have a slightly older version of this jacket and I have not been impressed. Where to start...first off the cut is weird. The jacket has a very slim waist that tends to cause the zipper to come unzipped from the bottom up. I'm 5'8" 155lbs with an athletic build and the medium fits my waist like a spandex mini skirt. Second the powder skirt is totally worthless, it is sewn way too high on the coat and is only effective if you are wearing bibs that come up to your nipples. Third the material seemed bomber for the first two years but quickly deteriorated by the third. The engineers simply cut out the fabric around the pockets and for the pit zips and laminated them to the zipper material rather than sewing them. This causes the fabric to fray at these spots and eventually de-lam. By the fourth year the fraying pit zips became unusable as the frayed nylon would collect snow and ice and the material would get jammed in the zipper. To make matters worse I sent the coat back to Westcomb (which was a 3 month ordeal) for some in house repairs and they proceeded to partially laminate the frayed material back on to the zippers and accidentally heat seal one of the pockets shut. The repairs lasted for two backcountry trips and I'm now having widespread fraying and de-laminating at every zipper...again. In short this product is nothing more than an expensive gag gift.
