First off, these shorts have a great big round butt panel that just looks weird. It's heavy and noticeable enough (at least in the black shorts) that I would have felt embarrassed walking around with these on. I'm usually in the size 32 range and these shorts just hung on me, a belt definitely would have been necessary. I sent them back.
