Titus Motolite Custom Mountain Bike - 2009

Titus Motolite Custom Mountain Bike - 2009 BCS

Item # TTS0067

If a typical ride involves pushing till your legs seize, and then going some more, you’ll need an atypical bike like the Titus Motolite Custom. Thanks to longer legs than pencil-neck XC rigs, the Motolite levels varying trail conditions, yet still kills the oxygen-depleted climbs associated with epics. Not a cross-country ripper or freeride bruiser, the Motolite resides happily in-between, to reward strong riders with confidence-inspiring all-mountain performance at an XC weight.

  • Optimized, 6069 aluminum front triangle for a solid chassis
  • Carbon fiber seat-stay with Hydro-formed chain-stay for low un-sprung weight and straight tracking
  • Compression molded, carbon fiber rocker keeps weight low
  • Four oversized sealed main pivot bearings for strength and less maintenance
  • Dual rate/dual travel suspension allows for 127mm or 100mm of rear wheel travel to adapt to varying terrain
  • Fox Float RP2 w/ Propedal, custom tuned efficient climbing
  • RS Tora 318 w/ lockout, preload, and rebound adjustments
  • SRAM X7/X9 drivetrain for positive shifting
  • Made in USA

Bottom Line:

I've had this bike for 2 months. And I love it already. It climbs really well. Rear suspension Propedal lockout is awesome. Handles everything from roots to decent sized drops very well. Does a bit of everything.

Amazing smooth bike

Love the ride. I just got mine and road it in the foothills of Rocky Mountain. It is very awesome ride. I am 59...rec rider...and will make my life longer.

I road my sons Rocky Mountain Slayer and it is a bit more responsive. Maybe less rake and a bit lighter. So it was like a Civic, whilst the Motolite was like an Accord.

All mechanical stuff is excellent. Would like shifters to have gear position. That's about it.
