TIME Speeder Frameset - 2008 BCS

Item # TME0011

From its damp ride and near-precognizant handling to the gorgeous carbon fiber weave that runs underneath the clear coat, the Speeder Frameset is all Time. The only thing that isn’t is the price, which might surprise you. The Speeder’s accessibility to the average consumer owes thanks to its Asian origins, which allow the same technology from Time’s exclusive team frames without the “handmade in France” sticker shock.

  • Safe+2 fork with multi diameter pivot for strength while remaining lightweight
  • Quickset headset separates headset adjustment from stem adjustment
  • Sloping geometry for a stiffer, lighter chassis

Bottom Line:

Does the Time Speeder frameset come with an uncut steerer fork

Does the Time Speeder frameset come with an uncut steerer fork with a long (250-300mm) length? Or is the fork steerer precut to approximate length depending on frame size? I hope it comes long and uncut since I like to have my bars higher than normal and use sometimes 4 to 7 cm of spacers besides the stem.

I got a 31.8 and its too small. So pretty sure the only other option in 34.9 but I just wanted to make sure.

I just got this frame on bonktown. Ordered a seatpost but I wont be able to check if it fits for two weeks (I'll be traveling around). If I remeber I'll come back and let you know.

What you could do though is go to the Time website. Check out the catalog and find out what seatpost comes stock on the frame. Then google the specs for the seatpost and you should have your answer. I did this for the stem (which is 1 and 1/8th).

You can click on "view sizing chart" in the upper right-hand corner to get the geometry. I guess they run large because I am 175 cm (5'9") tall and the small frame fits me perfectly.
