The North Face Metropolis Mittens - Women's

Item # TNF6956

You don't have to choose between style and function when it comes to keeping your hands from freezing. The North Face Women's Metropolis Mitten uses PrimaLoft and Heatseeker insulation to keep your paws warm while and an urban design to keep your whole outfit dialed.

  • Heatseeker and Primaloft insulation are strategically placed throughout the mitten to give you plenty of heat retention
  • Radiametric articulation lets your hands and fingers move without feeling tied together

Bottom Line:

Style and warmth working together.

they weren't really designed for skiing, as they aren't waterproof (or even highly water resistant). They have a synthetic leather palm, so you'll have some durability for gripping poles. They are't super warm or windproof. So, if you want to use them on the slopes, I would use them sparingly, and on milder spring days. Hope this helps.
