Didn't fit right.

I'm usually a size 8 in TNF pants. The size 10 in these shorts was too baggy and the size 8 was too tight in the thighs/felt like it would shrink too much after 1 wash. They weren't flattering. The print was super cute so I was sad to return them.
These shorts rock!!

I absolutely love these shorts! I own 2 other pairs in different colors. What I love most is the fit and overall length of the shorts. They are not too short, as is most often the case with womens shorts. For those of us who do not have the body type for shorter shorts, these are a great find.
North Face Quality Not What it Used To Be

I really like the shorts but after 1 wearing the buttons are falling off. For $45.00 I expected better quality.

The Mendocino Stripe are cute, nice shorts. However, I found that I'm between sizes. I have a pair of North Face shorts from last year which I think are the same in an 8, and they are a bit too loose, sit too low, and sag strangely. I tried these in a 6, and they are too tight in the thighs and butt and were just unflattering. Oh well. For those without the skier's butt and thighs, these are cute shorts in a nice, longish length.
