Solid shirt. The large was a little too loose through the waist for me at first (6'1", 190), but one time through the wash shrunk it enough. Also the Yellow is not quite as bright as show above.

This shirt is fantastic and made out of quality material. It does fit big though so keep that in mind. Stays soft even after 3 washes

I bought 2 of these and I am sure glad I did! My boyfriend keeps stealing them since he likes them so much. They are really comfy and of course you can't go wrong with a TNF logo! My only complaint is the neck seems a little restricting. Overall LOVE!

Good, durable shirts. I Use it for everything from kayaking and hiking to doing yard work to just hanging out.

True to size. 5' 8" 180. Bought a Large in Black. Shrinks a little in the dryer but not to the point where the shirt is too tight and unwearable. This shirt is extremely soft and is becoming one of my favorites.

This is a 100% cotton t-shirt and it has the retro TNF Half Dome. Very comfortable shirt that can be worn just about anywhere. I have had a few of these over a year and they are still going.
Fit is true to size IMO.

Don't be a sell out and wear northface like all of the other sheep out there. stand up to these corporate f*#@s. Google 'southbutt' and get a real shirt.

this is a good shirt that fits just about right. I like the material its soft and very comfortable. I recommend buying it.

I love this shirt! Like the other reviewers said, it does fit large so you may want to size it down. I usually wear a medium, however a small fits with room to spare. Great quality shirt for any warm weather activity.
Comfy shirt; good stuff

Good shirt. Soft and it stretches a bi for movement. It's also light as well. Good purchase.

Great shirt! I have 2 of them now and I love them. The fit is pretty standard TNF, runs a little bit large. I'm 5'9" 160 and the small fits just right in the chest/shoulders/arms, but runs a little on the long side.
Retro number 2...

I like it so much I got a second one in all yellow with the red print....It really pops....
Classic Style, Fit, Quality.

This shirt has everything I want in my The North Face gear. Awesome build quality, huge classic logo, and sweet colors. It's tough to wash this T because I'm always wearing it.

Straight from the package, there were some stains on the first shirt; unsure what from. Sent it back right away, no hassle at all! Great customer service! Short time later, my new shirt was here. Traditionally, North Face runs big, and this shirt was no exception. I took the advice of others and ordered the next size down. The fit is perfect.
nice, but huge

i like the looks of it and wears fine but beware the sizes run way too big

Good thick quality of tshirt and can't beat the price.

I own several of these shirts and I am going to order more.
These shirts don't run big like others have said.I am in-between a large or XL Mens depending on the shirt.
I wear XL in in this shirt and it is not that big. It fits like a large in a lot of other different brands.I am 6 foot 200lbs. Not big or small by any means - average build
good t shirt
November 24, 2010
it's a decent t shirt. cotton, comfortable. As others have said, it runs big, so size down at least one size.

bOUGHT 5 DIFFRENT LARGE SIZE NORTH FACE T SHIRTS FOR MY BOYFRIEND, HES 5'9 160LBS AND HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM. THESE SHIRTS FIT JUST A LITTLE LOOSE SO THEIR PERFECT FOR TODAYS FASHION. ABSOLUTELY GREAT PRODUCTS. HIGHLY RECOMENDED

For shirts I am typically a L-XL. I ordered a L (Made in El Salvador) and it came in and was way to big. So I placed another order for a M (Made in Honduras). It came in and it was to tight. Sad to say I'm returning both and I will just make a trip to my closest Northface store to try one on before buying. Tired of paying for shipping and return shipping.
For big people that like to feel petite

TNF should trademark the Psychologically Slimming Label (TM). I typically wear a L or XL, but this thing arrived fitting like a tent. I downsized to a medium and now I am happy with the fit...along with the virtual return to my junior high size.
September 20, 2010
I love the shirt. I can't wait to wear it.
The only problem is that it is HUGE. I have to return it. It is no joke that this shirt runs big. My large is probably closer to a big XL, almost XXL.
Not happy that I have to pay the return postage... kind of lame.

Love these shirts! They are comfy, soft, and have The North Face logo on them. Cant go wrong with that!
August 10, 2010
Shirts are made of a thicker cotton than expected, I guess I'm used to the cotton/poly blend TNF shirts that are a bit softer and thinner. The decription on this page is also innaccurate...there is no logo on the shoulder and no woven label on the sleeve. A bit disappointing, but no big deal. Overall..just a plain ol' quality t-shirt!
Great quality-but order a size smaller!
June 22, 2010
Being an avid outdoors man, I can personally say The North Face makes some of the best gear out there. Just be sure to order one size smaller, as they do run big (unless, of course, you want a backup parachute for that 2000ft. drop to the left;)
Can't have too many
June 11, 2010
Really comfortable, colours are awesome and vibrant. Size down one if you prefer a bit tighter fit but I like them as is, also found it a bit longer than the usual tshirt but nothing over the top.
Bought two and they are both instant favourites for any activity, out for lunch or hiking all day. I never want to wash them to risk a day without
North Face T
April 21, 2010
It's a T-shirt. It runs a little wide. Good Quality as always.
April 4, 2010
It's just an all around basic cotton t-shirt. No dry technology, nothing special. I get it dirty, wash it, and then wear it again. I haven't yet bought into the whole $40.00 shirt concept yet so I still prefer the basic t-shirt.
Sweet Jesus fat America, this thing is huge

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of this shirt. It came in the mail about 5 minutes ago, and I tore it open! I really like the shirt itself, it seems like it would feel really nice if I hadn't been swallowed whole by it. I swear you could go two sizes down. I wear a normal small and most of the time even if it's a "large" small it still somewhat fits...the shirt was labeled "small" but would be a straight-up xlarge in any other country besides America. Size down, trust me!
