This is my third TNF hoodie, and I love them all. They are confortable, warm, but not extremely hot. Keeps you warm on a cool day without overheating you. I live in a very warm climate, but the nights can get cold, so this hoodie fits the bill. Hightly recommend it.

Picked this hoodie up a few weeks back from BC. I'm actually wearing it right now! The one redeeming quality about this sweatshirt is the extra thick hood, which I adore. Buuut thats about it.
I like it, don't get me wrong but the craftmenship is sub-par compared to other TNF products Ive owned. Ive washed it three or four times now and the elastic in the cuffs and at the bottom is pretty much done for already, which means that it isnt fitting right anymore. The sleeves shrank in a really strange way so now they're tight around my arms whenever I pull it out of the dryer. I bought it for those cool mornings on campus but these days it more of a housework type hoodie.
You're probably better off spending some extra money and buying a TNF Greenwhich or Surgent hoodie.

Great hoody! Perfect for chillen with your bros to kickin' it at your local hole in the wall. Great selection of colors too! Fits well and is pretty true to size. No negative feedback. Its just plain great! Get one and enjoy it.

Comfortable Sweatshirt but runs small, i wear a medium in every other north face shirt but I had to buy a large in this one and it fits perfect.

I ordered The North Face Half Dome Hooded Sweatshirt for my son for Christmas. He loved it and it looked great......except after it was washed once. It shrunk a lot - so much that he can't even wear it!

There really isn't much special about this hoodie. It seems to be made of decent quality and has a really nice thick hood. I found this to run about a size small.

I got it for a steal on SteepandCheap, and its the best hoody I've owned. Its extremely heavyweight for the cold nights and extremely soft. I'm not a fan of The North Face usually, but this hoody was made right.

I bought this sweatshirt for my boyfriend. It's super warm and cozy. It does run just a bit small so if you're buying for a larger built guy you might want to size up.

Gave it four stars because I really like the style and color.
Be aware that it runs about a size smaller and is definitely a slimmer fit.
Returned my medium for a large.

This is a nice sweatshirt. The size does run small to be sure to upsize when ordering. I won't buy another NF Sweatshirt without seeing it first...the material is kinda thin...I'm used to the ol' Champion Reverse Weaves. It will be good for layering.

This is the second one of these I've given my dad for Christmas and he wears them constantly. The inside is very soft and it is a much heavier weight hoodie than the Backcountry.com hoodie I got him last year :)

The best thing about NF hoodies is the hood itself. It's hardy and very warm....not some cheezy thin hood. Perfect for late season football games or even camping on those cool nights. I have grey and green and plan on adding more to my collection!

I am a girl but borrowed a friend of mines NF HOODIE before and absolutely fell in love with it!! They are the most comfortable sweatshirts ever and there's a color to match almost every outfit! I started with the navy, then bought the green one and last night I just ordered one in red and one in orange! They look great with a tan, blonde hair and blue eyes....you just can't go wrong with these because it's virtually impossible to look bad with one of these on! I am a huge NF fan but these "boyfriend" or in my case "husband" sweatshirts are the best things ever!!! Buy a few and make your girlfriend (or wife) a very happy woman!!

The hoodie fits me well. Very soft and comfortable to use. The print is high quality, gets me through a moderately cold night. I'd totally recomment this hoodie.

Got this sweatshirt in an XL and fits me great (6'2 205lbs). I generally wear a Large in TNF but for some reason I had to go a step up so the sleeves and the overall length fit. It is a nice, thick, snug fitting hoody that keeps you warm and comfortable.

I did wash it in my delicates and dried it on low to minimize the shrinking but it did not end up well. I recommend not drying it because it did shrink enough to where the sleeves are now short. Not a big deal, but for future reference I would air dry it.

This is actually the second northface sweatshirt I've owned. When I bought my first one from my local Outfitters they told me I should go a size up because it shrinks. So I went with a medium then and like they said it shrank up perfectly after the first wash. I naturally wear a small in just about everything else the newest half dome I ordered didn't actually shrink up as I expected it still fits just not as snug as I wanted for a base layer. All in all its still a great sweatshirt for the price. It resists stains and other stuff that would threaten to get on it throughout the day so its perfect for just about anything.

This is my go to hoodie. First thing i noticed when i put it on was how soft it is on the inside. It is pretty heavy weight and quite warm, also it blocks the wind pretty well which i wasnt expecting. It definitely runs a size small, normally I wear a medium and a large, after washing, is more of an active fit on me. (5'11" 200lbs). So far after a number of washes it has held up great, still looks brand new.

Overall, great sweatshirt and highly recommended.

This a pretty heavy weight hoodie. I am 6' 140lbs slim build and the Large fits be pretty well. The sleeves might be a touch short, but overall it fits well. The inside is super soft, even after a couple washings. Pretty good shirt for just relaxing and wearing around.

So I've been wanting one of these hoodies but the retail store prices were more then double so what I purchased it for off backcountry its the best bang for the buck i've gotten online. The material is well made and the fit is great. Shipping was also sent promptly I'd do it again in a heart beat.

Fit is kinda snug. Definitely order up.

Bought this for a 19 year old and it was the present he wore the must! It is very soft and warm. Glad I snatched the red one! Just wish it would have been less expensive then a retail store. But did have XL which I could not find anywhere.

This sweatshirt isn't near the quality of my other Northface gear. It was thin and not all that warm.
Also, I'm 6'1, 160 lbs, usually in between a med/large, and after reading the reviews on here I went with large, but it was too small. Er, it was right on the boarder, but if it shrank at all, and it probably would have, it would be too small. So I returned it. Also, I have a lot of hair, and the head-hole was way too tight for me

I've had 2 of these hoodies and I have loved both of them. They fit very well and look great. Very durable too, mine have been through a lot.

I love this hoodie, the only thing is if you wear a white shirt under it the first 3 or 4 times you wear it it will leave a lot of colored lint, so take a lint brush and turn the jacket inside out and go to town or wash ait a few times :)

Warm hoodie, although it did shrink considerably after the first wash and color faded a bit too. i'm 6'0 210 lbs and the XL is a little tight after that first wash, so order up a size or two.

If you dont have one, get one. This is the most solid hoodie on the market. I got the purple in an XL after buying a L navy last year and figured a little bit bigger wouldnt be bad. They do seem to run a little small. Im 6' 155 lbs and found that after a wash or two they shrink a bit. So just get what you think will fit best. But dont forget to buy one!

So I bought this hoodie for my boyfriend last christmas he's 5'8' and about 153lb in a medium and after washing it a few times it shrank, so I would reccomend going up at least 2 sizes from the denali. I've retured it in exchange for a large. It's great. Soooo warm.

I love these sweatshirts, so I bought my husband and father each one for Christmas. They love them and said that they both like the softness in the inside and the material is made really well. The sizing is perfect, my husband is a XL and my father is a L and neither one have complaints about the the size!! I know from experience of owning one for year now that the color doesn't fade and the material hasn't piled like other sweatshirts.

I generally have a hard time finding hoodies that don't completely disappoint, and they generally cost alot more than $40. I got this Hoody looking for just a simple pullover sweatshirt, and that is exactly what I got. Overall very happy with my purchase.I am 6' about 170 went with a large, which initially was rather baggy, I prefer a more athletic fit, but one wash and dry as per the directions, and it snugged up a good amount. Could be a tad slimmer in the waist, but other than that, gold stars all around.Amended; after three months of occasional wear, the bottom of this hoody became so large that it looked like a dress. The elasticity does nothing... unfortunate considering it was very comfy for awhile.I ended up returning it.

I saw this one, and for the price I decided it would be a good buy. I am very pleased with the hoody. Be careful about the sizes though, Make sure you order up a size or maybe even two if you like your hoodies extra baggy. I am 5'8" 200lbs and the XL fits just right, a little baggy but it doesn't swallow me up like a tent. I wear a large in most TNF gear, but opted for the XL for a little more room.

This is a great hoodie. It fits a little small tho. Im 6' and 150 lbs and it seemed just an inch short on the length(I got a large). But its nothing to complain about. Its a great, warm hoddie, perfect for the fall.

Hoodie runs a size smaller then advertised - order 1 size larger then you need. Other then that I expect this to last just as long as all my other NF gear - years and years to come!!!

I really love this sweatshirt, it's just the perfect weight to wear in the winter here in Utah. It didn't run as small as I thought it would though, I bought an XXL but ended up returning it for an XL (no fat jokes please). I love your return system too, I did the complete exchange within 1 week, and that was right after X-mas. I would highly recommend this sweatshirt to any of my friends and family.

This is a very heavy weight, warm sweatshirt. The main concern is size, it runs very small. Im 511â, 160 lbs with a 38 inch chest. I am normally a Medium in everything and a Small in North Face. The Small was way too tight, and the Medium was ok but I was afraid of shirking. It shirks about 5% after washing. I own the Large, which is big but still works.

Super soft and comfy. I usually wear a women's medium, but even the large was too short (I'm 5'10".) So I bought the men's small which is a bit too big, but I still love it. Other than the sizing, I give it an A.
