When your girl’s ratty sweatshirt does nothing for her at the chilly bus stop, get her The North Face Girls’ Denali Thermal Fleece Jacket. The classic, eye-pleasing design complements just about anything in her wardrobe while the soft fleece adds warmth like no other casual jacket she can find in the mall. The eco-friendly nylon abrasion panels guard against spills and snags, so she can wear the Denali Thermal Fleece for years. Elastic cuffs and hem seal out the cold, and the integrated snaps and zipper allow the Denali to be installed into a weatherproof shell (sold separately) as an insulating mid-layer.
Bottom Line:
Casual enough for school, warm enough for winter adventures.
I love the jacket it's super cozy...I'm a women's xs and got a girls large, it was a great fit but the color looked too girlish on me so I returned it and got a black one. my 6 year old daugthter loved mine I got her one too! I'm sure you'll love it as well!
Unfortunately it doesn't look like we currently have that in stock so it's hard to say what the price would be. We should be getting more in though, keep an eye out.
I love, love, lovee this jacket! It is so warm and soft that even 29 with a factor of wind chill doesnt phase me anymore. Plus people won't be able to keep their hands of the fuzzy exterior.. which isnt always a good thing
Why do you not sell girls size large? We have looked all over
Why do you not sell girls size large? We have looked all over trying to find it but all we see is small, extra small and so forth. It shows the sizes but when we go to order all you have are the very small.
bought this for my 14yr old daughter and she loves it!...actually a very warm coat. I had to make an exchange on the size and was amazed at the customer service. What a pleasure to do business with. I will definitely be back!
My daughter absolutely loves this jacket! The color was exactly as pictured, it fits perfectly and is the most comfortable jacket she owns. It became an instant favorite.
Better yet was your customer service. No one else had this jacket (color) in stock, but I was recommended to your site by a friend. You not only had it, but managed to get it here in time foir Christmas, which was no small feat. It was all accomplished because the representative I spoke with went way above and beyond what was expected.
In my limited experience with backcounrty.com, you have epitomized the way an e-business should run. You now have a customer for life.
Daughter loves this jacket. I knew it was a popular item, but I guess I didn't realize HOW POPULAR. When I went to a couple different websites 3 weeks before Christmas they were already SOLD OUT. Luckily for her(me) I was able to stumble across the backcountry.com website.
Very fast shipping and price was competitive with all the other sites~ actually cheaper that a few.
My daughter is 13, 5'2, and about 93 lbs. She normally wears sizes 12-14. I ordered the large for her, but the sleeves were too short, as was the waist. We are returning it and ordering an X-large or a womens small.
I absaloutley love this jacket, it's light weight but warm, casual comftorably and cute, you can wear it in all kinds of weather. I got a kids L and I am a womens small or medium and It fits great.
What's the difference between the 2 colors black/black, and
What's the difference between the 2 colors black/black, and black/black/black? I honestly can't tell the difference but one of them is 30 dollars cheaper!
I'm trying to buy for my daughter and she is a really small
I'm trying to buy for my daughter and she is a really small 10 year old- am wondering if I can get a small (sz 8) for her. It is the only size left in the color she wants other than an xl, which I know would swallow her.
my daughter is very tiny 10 year old she wears a size 8, but i got her a large which is a 10/12 and its great and room to grow so she was able to use it this winter and for sure next winter
I am 12 years old... almost 13! I'm 4'6'' and about 65 pounds. I don't like loose fitting jackets, yet I don't like them too short on the sleeves or at the bottom. What size do you reccomend? (:
I have the OSO and the Thermal. They have almost the same sizing fit, but the material where the Northface logo is located is different (it's softer on the OSO). The sleeves are different where the OSO has no ties or buttons; it's just elastic sleeves. The Thermal has ways to adjust the fit. Both have the same soft, furry material. Hood is great for winter, and no hood is great for when you want to wear it under a jacket that already had a hood. Just some ideas.
Your Triclimate jackets will do well for wind and rainy conditions...They do cost more but you get two jackets and you can decide how you want to wear them...Fleece jackets do not stop wind at all...You will need to find jackets that have taped seams...Here are some jackets that will do a good job with stopping wind and they also have a zip-in jacket for warmth added to them...The last one is not a triclimate jacket it has some insulation built into the jacket but has taped seams. Hopefully this will help your search
Wow Karen, this is like deja vu! My name is Karen and I'm 19 years old. When I was 16, I was basically the same height and weight you are. I purchased a girl's large and it fit great. I still have the jacket, but three years later, it fits a little shorter. I'm a little over 5'4" and weigh 115 pounds now, so to save money in the future I'd order an extra-large. This size fits very similar to the woman's small and will still fit in the future just in case you aren't completely through growing yet. Hope this helps!
Could someone please tell me if the Denali Thermal jacket is
Could someone please tell me if the Denali Thermal jacket is warmer than the "regular/classic" Denali jacket? Aside from the fact that the fleece looks softer on the thermal, what is the difference between the thermal and regular jackets? Thanks in advance!!
