Really Wanted To Like These Boots, But . . .

By:
February 20, 2012

I love the look, feel and heft of these boot. Based on these 3 assessments I really wanted these boots to work out. I ordered 2 sizes based on the "poor fit" reviews. I was hoping that many of the reviews talking about the difficulties with putting these boots on and taking them off were a little too critical - however the criticism was right on. A real "b***h to get on and, once on a real fight to get them off. Better be sitting down or on the floor when you try. A real struggle. I wanted these to work so much I ordered a 3rd, larger pair and once again - no luck. Also, on all 3 pair the toe box seemed really cramped. Also, criticism that the finger loop is too small is also right on. Needs to be twice the size and sturdier. I will be returning all 3 pair later this week. Too bad. They simply are cool, poor fitting boots!

Warm and Easy

By:

Great boots for tromping around the snow. Very warm...relatively easy to get on and off. The only problem is because the top of the boot is so wide (to let your foot get in and out) it sometimes lets snow in. Great for winter trekking in the neighborhood or on the trails...not as good for tromping through massive powder like we have had in Alaska alot this year.

Order one size up. Mine fit barely and if I wear think socks, forget about it.

These boots run true to size. Just got mine in and 2/15/12 and am waring them now, to break in. They fit snug but they are easy to slip on and off.
