Thin but cool form fitting look
September 8, 2012
I read the reviews but was still surprised how thin the jacket is. I live in AZ and mainly travel in the west so I am keeping it. It has no liner and will work into the 50s for me but will need another layer/coat for lower temperatures. It's not tight but fits close to the body which I really like. The zippers are purple not black which makes a big difference IMO. I would much rather they were black. I am 5'8" & a size 4 and got the small, fits perfect.
what's the lining like? soft or that crunchy nylon waterproof
what's the lining like? soft or that crunchy nylon waterproof stuff?

The inside actually isn't crunchy at all. The garmet is tightly woven polyester, and while it won't feel like fleece, it should feel OK against the skin. It doesn't use a waterproof membrane like waterproof jackets, so no crunch to be had. The material is thin and will provide some stretch, water and wind resistance.

Not warm inside.

Well the jacket is not tight, but if you like loose clothing order a bigger size. Alzo, the zipper was purpple, not black like in the picture, and it wasnt warm inside, but it looked good, it's just the fact that I needed something warmer, my mistake.
cool looking, no warmth

This jacket is really sharp, fits according to size (is fitted) but there is no warmth to it. It is like wearing a shirt. Would have liked a light liner in it. I am not sure when to wear it because it offers nothing but a nice look.
