For 2011, Teva took its popular Dozer Sandal, gave it a more athletic look, and renamed it the Women's Dozer 3 Sandal. The revamped Dozer 3 features a Durabrasion Rubber outsole for versatile traction over a variety of surfaces as well as an easy-to-use pull-cord lacing system for on-the-fly adjustments. The sandal's materials are treated with a zinc-based anti-microbial treatment to keep the Dozer 3 smelling fresh, and the ShocPad heel protection and EVA midsole cushion your foot from impacts.

Too firm of of sole

They look great from my needs. The fit was good. My big BUT is the sole was too firm for my desires. TEVA makes a good shoe, but wish these had the sole of my TEVA flip flops

No, the Tevas have a lower profile than the Keen. I find them true to size for comfort, although I sized down a half size for security since I will be wearing them primarily in the water. Hope this helps!

Horrible experience with these sandals

I bought these for my girlfriend to hike with on the Subway at Zion. They felt fine when she walked around on flat ground, but after scrambling over rocks and going through water, her feet look like she has leprosy from the blisters and sores. There are gashes on her Achilles tendon from where the rubbing of the heel strap cut into her foot.

Teva Dozer III Sandal

These are supposedly a new improved version of the old sandal..............they aren't. Rather than the comfortable boxy fit of the old sandal they fit more like a shoe. After owning at least 6 pair of the old ones, the 2 new pair are going back.

I absolutely love these sandals, From the moment I put them on, to hiking up in the mountains of Whistler, Canada on vacation. These sandals offer comfort and support for wearing all day.

the best I have had

Love these sandels they are great for hicking in dry or wet also the zinc-based anti-microbial treatment is the best my feet are not that smelly but when you camp for days and the only shower you get is in a streem this helps alot fit great no blisters so far. The real test will be very soon I am going to test them out in Tx so I will let you know then how they stand up
