Tecnica PacMoc Shoe - Men's - 2009 BCS

Item # TEC0072

After a long day tackling brutal, rocky switchbacks, reward your boot-cramped feet with the breathable Tecnica Men's PacMoc Shoe. An insanely comfortable neoprene ankle collar and cushy rubber sole cradle your feet as you sit around the fire. When it's time to get moving, snap the heel and toe together and stash the PacMocs away—you'll hardly notice these little slices of heaven in your pack.

Bottom Line:

Treat your feet right when it’s time to kick back and pass the flask.

Great little shoe

I got this shoe for mainly one reason--that inbetween journey from the car to the ski slopes and not wearing my ski boots. I hate walking in ski boots. These shoes are excellent. They do fold and snap together, great idea, and fit with little bulk into my backpack.I wear a size 12 shoe, and for some dorking reason Tecnica doesn't translate shoe sizes into their shoes, so I bought the XL. It is a fine fit. I'd say it would accomodate from an 11 to a 13 easily. This shoe is very comfy and light. I'd recommend it, with one caveat. The back heel part rises a bit high and stiff and I found it uncomfortably rubbing on my back ankle while in bare feet. It was really annoying. That may be just a part of "wearing in" but in this day and age that is bullsh!t. When I have a pair of socks on, even thin ski socks, they're fine.
