Tecnica Demon X-Lite Trail Running Shoe - Men's
Tecnica is best known for its high-performance ski boots, but this is an outdoor brand that prides itself on all types of footwear, including trail running shoes. Rather than simply churn out a line of trail running shoes that look and perform like everything else, Tecnica took its knowledge of foot biomechanics and pushed the envelope a little bit with the Men's Demon X-Lite Trail Running Shoe. One of the defining features of this shoe is its outsole design. Rockered at the heel and toe and flat underfoot, this outsole allows for improved impact absorption at initial heel strike, an easy transition from the heel through the midfoot, and a snappy push off the forefoot as you finish your stride. Rather than forcing your form, this 10.9 ounces shoe supports with your foot's natural tendency to roll through each step, so you feel like you're floating as your cross rock-peppered trails. Couple this with a moderate, 10mm heel-forefoot offset, and you've got the makings of a brutally efficient runner.
