Surftech Stretch Fletcher Surfboard - 2010

Surftech Stretch Fletcher Surfboard - 2010 BCS

Item # SFC0046

Speed junkies who don’t feel mellow cruising is an option can appreciate the Surftech Stretch Fletcher Surfboard. Nathan Fletcher designed this wave rocket to go fast and turn even faster. The nearly flat mid-section is where you get the speed and the cut tail won’t put the brakes on your cutbacks. Tuflite core nearly eliminates the possibility of the core absorbing water when you crack the shell, so you can keep on slashing and wait until beer-thirty to fix the battle scars. This memory foam has insane rebound to give you solid response—which means your face will probably suffer more damage than the board when you brave the reef breaks.

Bottom Line:

Go balls out (we mean speed, not actually surfing with your junk out).

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

Great Board!

By:

I'm an advanced surfer. Started in 1986. I recently rode the 5'9" F4 in 1-3 foot waves and again in 3-5 foot waves. It's loose and fast. Good for someone at least 145-170lbs & 5'6"-5'9" tall.
Should be ridden at least 1-3inches shorter than your regular shortboard.
Measurements on bottom of board is 5'9" x 18.7" x 2.187 (2 3/16")
The 'F' stands for Nathan Fletcher (big wave charger and Christian Fletcher's brother)
The '4' stands for 4 fins or quad.
The Tuflite floats about 10-15% more than a poly board.
I love the bat tail and like this board better than the 5'9" K-Small (diamond tail, Tuflite also)

I WEIGHT ABOUT 147 LBS AND MINE IS A LITTLE TOO FLOATY. I WOULD SAY THAT AROUND 160 LBS WOULD BE THE IDEAL WEIGHT FOR A RIDER OF THIS BOARD WHO IS AN ADVANCED SURFER.

Very good nice! Tryed it last week in morocco, handles great in head high waves, flying thru fast sections even for a pretty big guy like me! Im 188cm and 86kg! Didnt get the chance to try it in bigger surf, but got a good feeling about it! Fast delivery, got the board to europe in less then a week! Super stoked, thanks departmentofgoods!

Board sucks

By:

I hate this board. I have an eps stretch quad, 6'1, 18 1/2, 2 3/8. Love that one. This Surftech version is way too thick (6'1 version) and too wide at 19+. It's a dog. All the negative things they say about the Tufflites show up on this model...stiff, too buoyant, etc.

The 6'1 wasn't for me... at 5'10, it might have been different.

i've used to own the Surftech F4 in size 5'11" but i tested the 6'01" version before buying. i'm 5'06" tall and about 155-lbs. the 6'01" was too buoyant even when i wore a heavy 4/3 wetsuit. the 5'11" F4 was perfect for me. my question to you is why didn't you research the board dimensions before buying ?

5'9

By:

I took out the f4 5'9 for the first time today. The waves were shoulder to head high with glassy conditions. I was very pleased with how the board road today. I was a little worried thinking this board was going to be to small because I have been riding a 6'0, 20.1 surftech piranha. The f4 is super fast down the line! my only worry is it felt a little skatey on the bigger sets. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I am 5'9 and weigh 145
