Surftech built the Merrick K Small Surf Board using its famed Tuflite construction to give it incredible strength while maintaining a super light weight. Low entry rocker contributes to fast paddling and easy wave catching. An FCS, tri-fin design helps the 2008 World Champion cut, carve, and slice like a Japanese cooking knife so he knows that when he paddles out on this Al Merrick shaped weapon, he’s gonna go fast and hard. This board digs cutting hard and sessioning smaller breaks.

Super tough, super float, it's got it all! Tons of power and speed in small waves, I've got the 5'9" and it keeps me stoked.

They are but they suck: Plastic. You should definitely upgrade, it's really worth it.

one board quiver?

This board's got tons of float for its size, but still allows for tight pocket surfing. Does it rip? yes. It's my go-to board. Put it this way, if I can only bring one board on a trip, this is the one.
