Sugoi H.O.V. Full Glove - Men's - 2010

Sugoi H.O.V. Full Glove - Men's - 2010 BCS

Item # SUG0511

Since you can't catch a ride in your buddy's white 4x4, you might as well pull out your black leather Sugoi H.O.V. Full Glove and pedal your commuter as far as possible to avoid your pesky court date. When the helicopters start buzzing and your hand begins to sweat, the mesh inner fingers and perforated leather dump the clamminess so you don't lose the choke-hold on your bars. Since you're probably on the news, use the PU nose wipe to help you appeal to the public. You might need it because the hook-and-loop closure ensures this glove fits your hand no matter what.

Bottom Line:

A glove you won't deny ownership.

retro glove, not for everyone

These gloves are a little odd. They are made from a somewhat thick leather, which means your hands will overheat in warmer weather. On the other hand, the gloves have some strange mesh venting between the fingers, so that part of your hands may chill in cold or wet weather. If you live in a city like San Francisco where the weather is between 50F and 70F every day of the year, day or night, then these gloves are probably great. Elsewhere, maybe not.

If you do decide to get these gloves, the leather is initially very snug and stiff. If you do manage to squeeze your fingers into the gloves, after a few hours of riding the leather does soften somewhat and mold to your shape of your hand to give you a custom fit. Fits like a glove. :)

The gloves have minimal padding, but the thick leather will protect your hands pretty well. I'm guessing that the leather will last a lot longer than the thin synthetics that most gloves are made from these days.

I got a medium and they feel too small. But per the above comments, maybe I need to ride with them a bit to see if they stretch out?
