Stoic Vaporshell 3L Pant - Men's

Item # SIC0233

Push through driving rain and torrential downpours while the waterproof and highly breathable fabric of the Men's Vaporshell 3L Pant keeps you bone dry and comfortable. Stoic used fully welded construction in order to improve overall durability and weatherproofing, and this construction allows for smaller seams that won't chafe against your legs. Furthermore, this three-layer rain pant features a gusseted crotch for supreme mobility, and the ergonomic cut keeps this pant close but comfortable—there's enough room underneath for your hiking shorts or long pants.

  • Vaporshell fabric uses a proprietary waterproof breathable urethane membrane that keeps you dry in wet weather
  • Membrane breathability allows sweaty vapor to escape from within
  • Vaporshell fabric has a shockingly high air permeability that allows air to move through the fabric so you fell cool, not hot and stifled
  • Fully welded construction further improves durability and weatherproofing
  • 3-D Ergonomic fit moves with you while you run, hike, or lug a pack over long trails
  • Crotch gusset ensures full range of motion when you need to step high
  • Elastic waist and adjustable waist-belt keep the fit nice and secure
  • Extremely compressible—plays nice with other gear in your pack

Bottom Line:

A highly breathable rain pant that keeps it simple but sacrifices nothing.

What a bargain

These are well made, not cheap materials like columbia, but still in that price range. I got the XL for $30 and they may be a little big but I cant complain. If their numbers in breathability even come close to advertized I will be happy.

Will say however, they are longer than I wish, the XL is about 34 inch long. But that's normal you'd think. I will be using some very strong velcro to fix the big opening and length at the bottom.

Not quite...

well constructed, decent fit, fine for the purpose. If you're just throwing them on for a brief drizzle while backpacking or on the approach or if you're just wearing them around camp, they seem like they'd be fine. But, the opening at the base of the legs is HUGE, big enough to put your boots through, but that is what the zipper is supposed to be for. Not exactly an ideal cut for more active mountain sports.

Agreed, the leg openings are too big and there's no way to tighten them. I was out in the rain for several hours and my ankles got soaked. They look nice though.

It's large enough to put over your boots without even unzipping the sides of them. They do have zippers and all that jazz, but, as one reviewer said, the openings are large enough that, especially in shoes, you wouldn't have to unzip them.

Look good..odd fit.

I bought this pair to wear because they're not a heavy material. I wear 36-38 in the waist 32-34 length. The waist in this pair (XL) fit but the thigh of the pants are really tight. This has never been a problem in other pants I wear. I'm assuming its the pants. The material is thin. Really thin. So being tight just means they'll bust. No wonder they're 60% off.

Great Pant

Solid construction, great material and completely waterproof. The elastic waste fits snugly, leg openings are nice and large for going over boots and other large footwear.
