Super warm. 5'9", 165 so I like the large for the chest space. Cheaper than patagonia, just as warm. And don't worry, your group couldn't get separated from you in a blizzard if they wanted to the colors are so bright. Stitching is weak but hasn't become a real problem yet.

I’m not gonna lie this is the best sweater I’ve ever purchased; I am for sure a fan of stoic. A week after I had the synthetic down jacket I had to have the shell. I’m 6ft and 150 and the medium fits like a charm and is warm all over. Although it is a pretty stylish jacket and gets the job done the threads pull…. Real bad… but if stoic perfects the sissy stitching the jacket would surely have no competition.

Poor Quality, Weird Sizing.

Very disappointed in the quality of the jacket. I've wore it half a dozen times and the stitching is clearing coming apart. This flaw is very similar to what other reviewers posted.

The sizing is strange too. I wear a Small Arcteryx. I ordered a Medium Stoic. The sleeve length is okay, but the body length is a little longer than expected.

On the plus side, the hood is roomy.
