Spy Soldier Goggle - 2006 BCS
Don't bother with enlisting. The Spy Soldier Goggles don't require a one-year tour of duty, but they do you right in all your battles against winter. Spy's Scoop ventilation system and Gemini dual-lens technology work together to eliminate fogging. The Soldier's flexible frame fits a wide range of face sizes, and its Isotronic foam wicks moisture to keep you dry. The sickest huck in history is going to suck if you can't see where you're landing.

These goggles have excellent lenses for the price. How cute are these? I bought the B4BC/Rose/silver mirro. They ventilate very well, and I've only had fogging problems when my nose has been completely covered from wet freezing conditions. The spy orbit does not fit my face as well as the soldier. I'm definitely sticking with this model.
Comfortable and stylish

These goggles are very comfortable, and the strap is long enough to fit around my helmet. There is a lot of face padding, so the goggle needs to be cinched up a little tighter than would be expected to get a good seal. The vision clarity is good, and I have not had any fogging issues. I do notice a slight distortion in my peripheral vision while riding the lift, but I've never noticed it while actually riding. (When riding, you will always be looking through the center of the goggle, and this is certainly distortion free.) And, last but not least: these goggles look seriously cool. They are well-constructed, and I would buy them again.

I used theses goggles 5 times this year. The look great and can take a beating. I crashed so hard one time at Hunter Mtn New York (ouch), but the goggles stayed on and took the beating. Recommended!!!!
so stylish and cool!!!

These goggles were awesome! That had a comfy fit, great shape and unbelievable vision. They were pretty hard to fog up but i managed to do it a little in the bottom of the lenses when i had a balaclava on but, apart from that they worked a treat. Hands up for Dogfunk for getting them to us so quickly as well! Cheers guys:)

these goggles were super good to my face. i used to have some cheap spys and they just werent cuttin it. these gogs never fogged up on me and the peripheral is really good on them. i really liked the bronze lenses, its not like persimmon ones were it makes the light look darker, these lenses mostly made the light more of a bright blue than a bright yellow(sun). highly recommended. by the way, i got the 05/06 mfms(light blue, white strap)
These Goggles Are SWEEEET!!!!!

These goggles are awesome! Soooo much better than my old $30 pair! I love spy sunglasses so i figured why not try the snowboarding goggles and i am so happy i did they don't fog up at all the first time i used them it was sleeting at Stratton Mountain,VT and no fog what so ever from these babies! I would totally recomend these goggles!!!

These goggles rock. They fit great even with a helmet, are very comfortable and don't fog.
The mirror lens did a great job with bright sun and looks absolutely amazing. I had my friends gagging in jealousy every time I threw them a Derek Zoolander "Blue Steel" look.
Gotta love Spy Optics!!!

The Spy Soldier goggles are a great value. The persimmon lenses are outstanding... I've used them in heavy snow, under bright blue skies, and even at night under lights. They are extremely clear in all conditions, and haven't fogged up on me yet. I would say that the only downfall is the frames were a bit smaller than I expected, and there is very little peripheral view. I would step up to the Spy Orbit if you prefer a wider peripheral while still with a compact frame.
good fit google

This google fits my female face well. Just a little smaller profile than my smith googles. They do not seem to fog up at all. I would recommend them also because they look stylish.

I am a huge fan of Spy products, from Rx sunglasses to Motocross goggles, and finally joined the ranks with their snow lineup. The Soldier goggles fit awesome with or without a helmet and the amber tint is the perfect degree. I would recommend this pair to any level of skier/snowboarder, and at a price that is almost half of what mountain shops charge you pretty much have to get them.

When I first got these hot puppies they fogged up and everything, but now after about 2 weeks they're broken in and...vualla no more fog. BUY THESE!

great ventilation so there is little to no fog up. these goggles are the balls.

These goggles are great! The small size fits my face perfectly and does not fog at all. Although there might be a little gap between my nose and the foam, but that problem is fixed when I wear a bandanna or a face mask.
BEST GOGGLES, PERIOD!
November 8, 2006
I've gone through different brands of goggles and also every model SPY offers and this is by far the best goggle out there! Despite my hard falls the goggles have shown resistance to impacts and resistance to fog. Would totally recommend if youre tired of your goggles fogging up all the time.

I have a pair of the Spy Soldier goggles from last season (05-06) and they were awesome. No fogging problems and fit very comfortably. I am actually picking up a new pair in a different color frame and lens. Hope I can get a lot of boarding done this winter. I would strongly recommend these goggles to anyone.

Spy Soldier goggles are very cool looking. Super comfortable fit and reasonably priced. The only problem is that it is difficult to change out the lens.
December 5, 2005
The colors are rockin!!! you can see great with them and no fogging. What else do you want??
November 21, 2005
Cool looking goggles. Very comfortable, but hard to change out lenses.
November 18, 2005
These goggles look cool and arent huge on your head, but there nothing fancy for the price.
November 11, 2005
Well, I just got these goggles a week ago and they have good lenses and are put together nicely. The negatives that would give it a 4 would be 1.) The foam irritates the face and causes the goggle to be uncomfortable, which is huge after wearing it for 30 min and you sweat a little the foam starts to itch, I don't know how SPY over looked that. Second the peripheral is not great. I may try to modify the foam, because what good is a goggle if you can't wear it for a long time.

I purchased the 05 MFM's. They're double adjustable on the straps, and the bronze mirror lens feels great to my eyes in the sunlight. If you couldn't afford them at retail, now is the chance!
November 10, 2005
Plenty of room for boots, bindings, and board. Coaxing 2 boards (bindings attached) might even be possible if you dont mind scratches on the topsheet. It looks like its padded enough for travel. A nice in between of zero padding, and super padded 100+$ board bags. Great bang for the buck!
April 12, 2005
These are great goggles. I tried real hard to make them fog, but no dice. They are real comfortable too. Worth the money!
Soldier Goggle Review
March 23, 2005
Best I've used under $100. Didn't fog while snowing and still lit up the bumps. They feel super light and comfortable on the face.

Been riding for a couple years now and never knew that goggles were a necessity. I thought going down the mountain squinting and eyes tearing were normal =). Glad I picked these for my first pair of goggles. No hint of fogging, perfect fit and awesome look. Bronze lens is a little too dark for me though, wish u guys had the persimmons in stock. Would definitely recommend and give it a 2 thumbs up (ditto to dogfunk).

Looking at these goggles. They are stylin' that's for sure. I know this might sound silly, but I can't ever wear them without imagining I'm on Hoth, the ice planet in "The Empire Strikes Back". Anyway, however you see yourself, Spy makes the most awesome eyewear, these goggles are no different. Top of the line and at a great price too!
February 16, 2005
Sweetest goggles I have ever used. Didn't get a hint of fogging skiing or snowmobiling. Besides that they look sweet too!
