Just tried it out today for the first time. 16 mile single-track mountain ride. Very comfy, even though it was a hot day. I zipped out the back panel thinking it was a bit over the top, but I did pitch off the trail and flipped downhill and could have used the armor. Oops. The shoulder pads are a bit Joan Crawford, and overall all I felt like I looked like a TMNT, but wtf, I rode with confidence that this armor was on me in force, and not the rocks, treelimbs and other things that want to do damage. Good purchase.
