Six Six One 401 Moutain Bike Glove - 2010 BCS

Item # SSO0080

Your girlfriend likes it when you have soft hands, so keep them that way with the Six Six One 401 Mountain Bike Glove. The fancy slip-on design won’t snag on tree branches, and the terry cloth thumb wipe allows you to clean up your snotty nose before you kiss your girlfriend.

  • Perforated palm keeps perspiration from causing slippage
  • Synthetic Clarino palm is super durable and machine washable so you don’t have to put on crusty gloves for your next ride
  • Four-way stretch material allows for the perfect fit

Good Gloves.

Pretty good gloves, I got the purple and black colors and they look pretty good. Nice and thin the way I like em. One star off because the palm is a little loose but on the bike it isnt an issue. Took a pretty good fall on my palms and the gloves held up so its all good in my book.

Some sizes are not to spec

By:
December 12, 2011

We bought two of these, one purple in XS and one cyan in M. The medium fits as it should and looks alright (not as bright as in the pictures) but the purple (very dark compared to the pics) does not at all fit like an XS. For someone that wears XS in every other glove, it fits like a men's small or even a women's large. Be aware of this. I will be returning the XS tomorrow. Bummer because we got these gloves to match out kyle straight knee pads which are awesome.

Light Weight Glove

By:

Snagged these on chainlove a few months back and was only slightly impressed. Seems like a durable enough glove but i like to have a little more support on the exterior of the glove (padding, velcro). Other than that though the glove does a great job. Well ventilated, stylin', and pretty durable.

Single layer palm is weak

By:
September 13, 2010

Chainlove had a great price on these gloves, but now I know why - the single layer palm offers very little protection and tears easily. I tossed myself down the mountain and ripped through the palm on my very first ride with these. I usually wear Fox (DirtPaw being my favorite) and have never had issue with torn palms. This was the first time I've ever had a hand injury/rash from crashing. The gloves were comfortable right out of the box, and fit my fingers well (I have short fingers, some gloves are too long even if they fit my palm), so I will probably try 661 gloves again, but I'll be looking for something with a bit more protection.
