The high-clamp option for riders running the Saint FC-M815 double crankset, the Shimano Saint FD-M817 Front Derailleur plays nice with not only the 83mm bottom bracket’s 57.5mm chainline, but also super fat tires and steep chain stays (65-71 degrees). The dual-pull design lets you run your cables to pull from above or below this derailleur. Designed to clamp onto 34.9mm tubes, this bottom-swing derailleur comes with extra shims to accommodate 28.6 or 31.8mm tubing.

I ended up returning this b/c the clamp was too big for my down tube (on my 2009 Trek Remedy); I ordered the FD-M667 instead (SLX - also a 2 ring derailleur), and it appeared identical in every way, except it had a smaller clamp that fit my AM bike.
