Pretty nice

Got it for $40 on SAC. Definitely worth it. I'm 5'11" 155, 39" chest, 31" waist, got the medium. It fits slim, not too short at the waist, and long enough for my arms. It's light and feels pretty good. I got the brown one and the color looks pretty nice. The only thing I don't really like is the velcro on the cuffs seems a little flimsy. Other than that, solid lightweight softshell for spring/fall hiking and morning runs.

good technical jacket

Got this jacket last year for a hike in the black mountains last december. While I was moving on the trail this jacket + a light wool baselayer + an occasional light sweater was all I needed to stay warm in temps down to 20 deg and windy. (The 30lb on my back also helped).
The material is a bit odd, as dalto says, but its stretchy, lightweight, and wind + water resistant and still quite breathable. My friend with an Arc***x jacket was actually quite jealous.
Its a very technical piece, not something that I wear around town much. This jacket isn't lined, except a little in the front so the seams inside are exposed. The armpits and back of the arms are a lighter material that's more breathable (lighter colors in the photos).
caveats: The velcro on the sleeves is wearing out already, but that's easy to repair. The neck isn't very comfortable if you zip it up all the way. Not as good quality as some of the more overpriced outdoorsy brands, but at $40 on SAC, its a steal.

(I'm 5'11" and 155lb and I got the small because I wanted to be able to layer over it. It fits slim but its not restrictive because it's stretchy.)

just okay

I was looking forward to getting this. I liked the style, I liked the colors, and I liked the idea of walking around with "Sherpa" written on my jacket. But I was disappointed. I found it loose and floppy. The fit of the body was all right, but the arms were too long and too roomy. I'll admit that my arms are on the short side, but at 5-9 or more and wearing a small, I'm no shorty. I didn't think it was satisfactory from either a technical or a casual standpoint. The fabric was also a little cheesy, although I could have overlooked that if everything else were right. And while I liked the colors, I couldn't decide whether the screaming light green made me look cool or like an early retiree headed out for some mallwalking. When I realized that I'd gotten better jackets for better deals on SAC, I knew it had been a momentary infatuation and the jacket had to go back.
