Salomon F20 Snowboard Boot - Women's - 2007

Salomon F20 Snowboard Boot - Women's - 2007 BCS

Item # SAL1517

The Salomon Women's F20 Snowboard Boots get you dialed for the park, pipe, and beyond. Hardly bigger than your skate shoes, these ultralight, low-profile boots have a progressive flex that's soft enough for jibbing, yet provides enough support to shred the rest of the mountain. Salomon's Powerlace Pro Soft lacing system gives you a customized fit with a single pull, while the LCG fusion liner locks down your heel and features fur trim for softness and warmth. A stretch back panel and lower cut eliminate calf bite, and a lightweight Smart Fusion sole grips when you hike. *Sizes are in Mondo.

Bottom Line:

A low-profile boot for high profile skillz.

Boots run small, are tight and uncomfortable

By:
December 4, 2010

I did a lot of research before ordering these boots. There were glaring recommendations from other sites, which I find very difficult to understand. Having read the previous reviewer's remark that the boots ran small (she wears a 6 in shoe, sometimes a 5.5---and this is my EXACT shoe size), and that she returned the size 6 (23) for a larger size. I ordered a size 6.5 (24) and my toes were crunched against the front of the boots, and the boots felt very tight everywhere! I have pretty dainty feet, as well, so these boots run at least a size too small. After 5 minutes of trying to walk around in them (trying to convince myself that they weren't in fact too small- ha!) my feet were throbbing. I returned them. I know boots are fickle, and each person's foot is different...however, if you have to order a boot online, I'd recommend the K2 Haven---I just ordered it, received it, and it fit completely true to size. It fits better than any of the boots I tried at the local snowboard shop (including Burton Mint, Burton Lodi, DC Scout (very tiny), and a few others). So I took a risk with the K2 Havens, but I'm really glad I did. They fit the same from street shoe to snowboard boot. My little brother wore K2 boas and really liked them, so I gambled. SO much better than the Salomon F20 in my opinion.
