That's Mondo sizing, dood. Click the link right below the "Select Options" drop-down menu which says "View Sizing Chart" and it's pretty easy to see that a 26.5 is the same as a U.S. men's size 8.5
Alpine, telemark and snowboard boots are often fitted through the Mondopoint system, where the size represents the length of the foot in centimeters, which actually makes *more* sense than the ridiculous amalgamation of sizing systems used in the U.S., UK, and Europe.
Had a pair of 08's that were half a size small (9.5). Got the 09's in a 10 and they are great! Both were comfortable and warm. The build quality is nice(the stitching and accents are detailed). Stiff yet responsive (6/10 on Salomon Flex rating). My feet feel cradled with no pressure points and good ankle support(I have boney ankles). The "washable" liner is a very nice touch! Over all they fit well with Salomon's bindings and they translate the power to your board very well. I've used the Dialouges for Freeride and am really happy with them.
Probably bias because it's what I use but I find them to work really well with Union's. I have a pair of large Union Datas on my board that I use with my 10.5 Dialogues
Great FN Boots..so easy to get on and laced up. used them about 10 times so far, and it didnt feel like i needed to "break them in" they were comfy from the get go. I now feel like I am one with my board. For the price you cannot go wrong with these boots. already told my friend to get them. I down fall is getting them off, you need some good leverage to get them off. But thats not a big deal at all.
For some reason it seems that Dialogues are the only boots that fit my feet. I tried the f20s but they were just too slim and weren't very warm. These babies provide a nice medium flex and are warm. The lacing system is legit and sure beats boa/traditional systems. They were rather uncomfortable at first but that is because my feet are weird. After they packed out though they felt like a gem, so if they are uncomfy at first, just give them some time before you think about returning them. I also rode these bad boys in spring slush up at Mt. Snow in VT and they stayed completely dry except for my sweaty feet. I DEFINITELY recommend these boots for those who want a decently priced, easily laced, warm all-mountain parkish boot.
These are made for the park exploration end of the spectrum. Flexier, softer, made to allow your ankles to bend anywhichway a little better. Any boot, burton or otherwise, with a higher built-in lena angle, helps to transfer power to your heel edge, and you will usually find that kind of set-up in a freeride or power-oriented boot. Soft and flexy = butters, slides, tweaking and jibs. Stiff and stiff = powering down a big line, carving hard, stomping a huge 1/4 pipe.
sorry dude thats waaaaaaaay too vauge, you have to ask the difference between the specific pair of boots you are asking about, becuase burton makes boots for every stlyle of riding priced from 109 dollars to 600, way too many choices to choose from. but in general, a harder lean angle will put tons on power into heel side turn but will tired you out easy and will naturaly make you lean on toe edge
I dont know about these, but I've rode the same pair of these for the last 3 years. I wear the 14(31.5) and they fit perfect They start tight then loosen up. If you like flex boots get these. It just takes a lil bit to get them broken in.

your right they wont pair well as burton boots and bindings are designed with a 20 degree lean,hence burton boots work only in burton bindings .Your salomon binding is straight up stance ,ride hard.
I used this exact model of boots everyday all summer on the glacier at Mt. Hood, and they are still killing it this winter. I have over 80 days of soaking wet salt slush riding plus the beating of a regular season and the thing wrong with them is my foot funk. I've also used Salomon boots for the last 4 years and will never abuse my feet with anything else.
Man, these boots are awesome once you figure out the quick lacing..the instructions that came with it are kind of confusing, i went to youtube, and watched a vid on it. after that, it was smooth as could be. for the price, these are some sick boots, that look good too!
These are by far the best boots I have ever used. I started out 6 seasons ago with cheapo Lamar boots that were okay for learning but didn't offer much beyond that. After a couple seasons I moved to a pair of K2 Raiders which I couldn't stand due to the heel lift. After that I went with a pair of 32 Lashed boots which were decent but they just didn't feel all that responsive to me. Finally I found the Dialogue. This boot just fit my foot perfectly, It's the only boot I've been able to rock all day without taking them off to give my aching foot a rest. I've never had a problem with heel lift or my foot moving around in the boot. At first I was a little worried that it would be a bit to soft for all mountain riding but despite the softer flex, once laced up properly you can ride anything with these. On that note I'm very satisfied with the speed lacing system. So far it's been great, quick, and glitch free. My current setup is a GNU Riders Choice, Union Data bindings, and these boots. I couldn't be happier with the combination.
I have had forums, 32's and burtons and for some reason these are the only boots i have had that really killed it. I road my last pair of dialogues for 4 freaking seasons then finally after beating them mercilessly for that long i finally had to retire them. I just bought a new pair. They are SUPER comfy, super soft. super warm, and really have no presure points on my foot. But as anyone will tell you feet are so different, so make sure to try on as many as you can and go with what feels best.
the person above that said these boots suck is a moron if you never had salomons with there speed lace system have someone show u the right way to doit and youll never turn back these boots sre extremely comfy and stay tight all day long once you go salomon u never go back the dialogues are specially designed for wide feet so if you have normal or narrow feet buy some salomons but maybe a different model
I have the older model than this and love them a lot. I highly recommend them due to the amazing lacing system. These boots are very warm and comfortable with easy and tight lacing. From now on I am only going to buy Salomon Dialogues.
I was so stoked when i got these boots cause they were super comfy and tight, but after a few weeks the stoke factor was heavily reduced..the boots don't hold on to the heel no more, they are soft and sloppy, the lacing is fucked, and they suck..I am actually riding my old 32 lashed boots now, because the salomons are shit..I would not recommend these to anyone, and the toe is like super long and flat..toe drag is a real problem if you have feet bigger then a size 9..this boot sucks, use your money on a real boot from 32!
