Gear Review
weight not correct
By Tim Thome December 24, 2010
Received wheels and immediately put them on the scale. Both tires were weighed without rim tape. Rear tire was 1030g and the front tire was 720. Entire wheelset weight minus skewers and rim tape 1750. Big difference from advertised weight here on DOG or RealCyclist. 100g difference is just a bit too much IMO. The wheels roll smoothly in my hands and the freehub is dead silent. So basically you get a wheelset for about 2.5 Benjamins. If that's the case then it opens up the options for other makers. Weight not as advertised.

A one hundred gram discrepancy is well within limits if you're using the average scale.... Most scales outside of a lab aren't that accurate. However, there is a difference between a wheel and tire, which is definitely worth knowing.
