Gear Review

I bought this jacket from a guy locally for $60, he had used it once or twice, it was in perfect condition. I'm 5'10" approximately, and 150lbs, and this jacket is gangster in a medium. It comes down probably a few inches below my crotch, and its baggy everywhere. Fits great. Aside from that, the details on this jacket are amazing. Great stitching, corduroy under all the pockets, great vents and zips everywhere, water proof zippers, and everything just works well. The gore-tex is the reason I bought it though. I went up to Park City last weekend and it DUMPED all day. My 2 year old special blend jacket lasted several hours, but by the end of the day, soaked through on the sleeves and zippers. I decided it was time for gore-tex. The only disappointment about the jacket is the choice of material. I wish it were a little more sturdy. It's not cheap like a windbreaker, but definitely isn't as tough as some other jackets, like most 686 shells. Still a ballin jacket.
