sizing an issue

even though i'm 6'4" I have a 31in - 32in waist. I ordered the mediums and sent them back for large. These run VERY SHORT and only came down to just below mid-thigh instead of closer to the knee. it just looks awkward and the straps dug into my shoulders. I returned the large and will be looking for a different style or even brand.
Well made but for more average to short body types.
