Overall helmet itself seems fine and robust. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot. It looks sweet and I was thinking how chessy could the visor really be? I was thinking people were expecting a very hard plastic visor but getting something like you would expect on an XC bike helmet... they're all pretty flimsy. Well, considering the visor was a big reason I was replacing my current helmet (visorless fox transition) - it is crucial when riding during sunset which I do often. Well, this visor is completely worthless and makes an otherwise sweet looking helmet look super cheap. It has no functionality and would likely flap in the wind. It is made of the same material as one of those cheap plastic floppy 3-ring binders. You can fold it in half with your pinky. Returned it immediately- getting the poc...

any visor on a like helmet (giro xen, fox flux, poc trabec etc.) would also fold/break and be out of the way in a fall... but would not flap in the freaking wind. Still very glad I returned this junk. The POC is saweeeet.

if you would have done a little research you would have found the reason for the "floppy" visor. With other model helmets, the visor has been an issue when the wearer crashes, pushing their neck upward, this leads to broken necks. The thought behind the visor on urge's helmets is that the visor moves out of the way to allow for an impact focused on the helmet. Research a little before you buy and review a product.
