Gear Review
You expect more when you spend more
By Mister N-Dubby May 26, 2010
The pack is very stylish and durable but I expect more for a $350 carry-on. My grievances: The wheels could definitely be upgraded. The side straps that secure the hard case to the back pack have no where to go if you don't connect them to the backpack, then they're dragging on the ground. The handle does not slide in and out as fluidly as I would like. The straps on the backpack and the case are a pain to get in and out. The front of the case, when you take off the backpack, should have zippers on the mesh pockets.
The good: I took this bag to Vegas and having the detachable backpack was AWESOME. I was able to smuggle a bottle of Grey Goose, two bottles of OJ, a 7-fifty of Jame-O-son, and a 2 liter of Coca-cola into the pool. Got me and all my friends swerved for cheap. Thanks backpack. The color is great. Everything on this is high quality. Zippers, pockets, clips, handles, etc. It has tons of storage and does everything it needs to do just a lot of opportunity to get equal quality for around $175-$225.
