Velcro is annoying, so far

Every time I put it on the velcro sticks to something - either my sweater, gloves, or another part of the jacket. Having velcro on the front zip, pockets, and sleeves is a little much. (Also the back of the hood, but I don't think this has been a problem.) I haven't gotten to try it out in a downpour, yet, so I'm not sure how it performs. I got the large for layering and my climber shoulders, even though I usually get a medium. I'm happy with the size. It doesn't look like I'm swimming in it, but it has some room.
