Gear Review
This backpack is even better than before !!
By kwu431411600 April 3, 2010
I've been using the previous version of this backpack since spring of 2006 and I can't believe that they've actually improved it. I just picked it up off SAC (for $50 !!), it's my favorite backpack ever. I've taken it to Japan, Whisler, Tahoe, Vail, Wolf Creek, Silverton, etc., and it's never failed. The updated one adds an internal divider, and got rid of some internal pockets. The coolest thing that I haven't found any reviews mention, is the built-in whistle on the chest strap buckle. It's one of the most clever locations, being super convenient for accessing in tight situations. This newer pack also appears a little more slim, to make the seating on the lift bench a little less uncomfortable. I never have too much of a problem wearing a backpack, as long as the bar is down for me to lean forward a little and lean on. Also, if you add some ice to make the water really cold, it won't taste so funny.
