They work... but not very comfortable

I wore these primarily for work outside in the winter months. Most of my work requires me to be outside and on my feet. The YakTrax worked great to keep me from falling on ice covered concrete, however they we not comfortable. I found that wearing the YakTrax all day, in excess of 14 hours a day, caused some pretty gnarly knee pain. I tried wearing them with a few different pairs of boots with the same result.
Overall it is a very efficient product that kept me upright in icy conditions, although I did have some pain to deal with after the fact. To me the pain was worth it.
