The best commuting trunk bag, ever
By Anatoly G August 28, 2010
I can't say enough good things about this bag. First of all, the quality of the materials and construction is top notch, think Ortlieb. The zippers are water tight, and the materials are as well. So, if you're cycling in the rain, you don't need to worry about your belongings. I use this trunk bag daily to commute to and from work. The bag fits a pair of jeans, shirt, underwear and socks easily. Not shoes. It also fits my wallet, keys and phone. In other words, it fits everything I need to get dressed for work, as long as I have my shoes at work.CONS: The zipper requires a bit of work to close due to it being watertight. That's really the case w/ all watertight zippers, but I just wanted to point it out.
November 16, 2010 - I still think this is the best commuter trunk bag I've ever tried, however, the zipper started separating from the bag in one place so far, which means that I can't take the zipper all the way around now. It's still effectively waterproof, however. I called POE, and they are willing to replace the bag, but with a newer, soft version, not the hard version like this bag (they don't make it anymore, apparently).
