Perfect for the cool mornings hiking through the woods looking for the perfect shot. Perfect for a little mountain boarding down a windy hill mid morning. Perfect for when the chills move in around dusk as you're setting up shelter for the evening. Perfect for keeping you warm when it does get cool - which in turn makes it perfect for drawing the chicks closer to YOU for warmth.
The alpine pockets are awesome for climbing and kayaking. I do miss the interior pocket it used to have as noted in another reviewer's talk. The windstopper can't be beat though. Love the big pit zips and the extra coverage on the arms and elbows.
I wear this almost everyday, well, except in June, July and August.
I have to say...it sure makes me look good too.
