Terrible fork makes bike unusable.

By mtb2763525 September 7, 2010

I'm a big Backcountry.com fan, but feel ripped off after buying this fork/bike combo. Make profits some other way.

The Tora is an unworthy choice for this bike. What's the purpose of the "great deal" when you have to buy other parts to make it trail-worthy?

(This bike was previously offered on ChainLove with a Fox fork. I regret getting fooled. Pretty much a bait and switch.)

It states right in the specs: "Fork: Rock Shox Tora SL 100mm " I don't see a bait and switch, I also bought one of these and it a great value. Sure Fox forks would be better but then again it is also cheaper then the one on ChainLove.
