I bought these jackets for my two boys (9 and 10). My sons are sick and tired of wearing layers upon layers of clothes to keep warm....you guys know what I'm talkin about. This North Face McMurdo jacket is the bomb! My youngest and I went on a school trip this past week near upstate, NY. Yeah, I know, crazy time to go on a school trip, especially an outdoor environmental trip. We were in 2-3 feet of snow with snow/rain and 30mph wind gusts. Needless to say, my son was warm with that jacket and all he had on was a thin turtleneck shirt. We were blasted with cold weather for three days and he never once said he was cold. My oldest loves this jacket as well, all he wears is a t-shirt. Guys, if your lookin for a warm jacket for your kids and a great price...you WILL NOT be disappointed with this one! GREAT JACKET!
