Solid Bike, Tough to beat for the price.

By Nick Bee January 16, 2012

This is a solid bike. Ignore the review of complexity of putting it together. Bike came 90 percent assembled. (Although brakes were reversed from whoever put it together, had to install new cable housing for front.)
All that needed to be assembled was: Stem, Bars, seat post, front brake and fender, pedals and a few minor tweaks. Nothing an Allen wrench and tube of grease couldn't do.
Would not base decision off of retail price vs. actual price here on D.O.G. As far as quality goes. Would compare it to a SE Lager or Surly for that purpose. CrMo frame with cool paint and matching fenders. Paint is also a little cheap, but why would one care at this price? It was intended for my winter "beater" bike. It will serve its purpose and some.
The set up is also little aggressive in nature, but nothing a good set of cruiser bars and upright stem can't fix.
I purchased the medium size and it fits nice. I am 5'10" with short legs/long torso. Could have maybe went with a small and adjusted with longer seatpost.

I have since swapped out the bars for some moustache style ones and pedals with some tacky platforms.
Much better fit.
