I have a redpoint optimus and love it. A non-hooded version became available at a super price so I got it not really needing it and I am so glad I did. Sometime you feel like a hood, sometimes you don't. Can't go wrong with the redpoint series as the jackets are warm, lightweight durable and even good looking. The logo on my older optimus is embroidered, where this one is just printed on. Probably saves a little weight but not worth it IMO, but oh well. Still buy it.
