This might be one of the most well thought out technical shells on the market. Having owned TNF and EMS brand goretex shells in the past I know ok quality. This jacket far surpasses those. It's on par with the Arc'teryx Beta AR. (although the AR may have slightly better face material).
The technical options within the pockets make synching and storing a breeze. The venting set up might be a bit odd but when open they provide full back direct venting. I use it for technical mountaineering and winter backpacking throughout the Presidential Range. This has become my go to winter shell.
