Gear Review
Perfect for all but the coldest of weather
By kyl4966196 December 4, 2012
I already had a great Capo thermal jacket, but I found myself getting too hot on rides that weren't freezing (or, more typically, rides that started out freezing and then warmed up as the ride/day progressed). This jacket has been PERFECT for a much wider range of temperatures. I can layer up underneath and still handle rides that are quite cold (though I still prefer the Capo thermal for the sub-30 degree rides), or I can wear it with only a jersey for rides that are cold, but not freezing.
The removable sleeves are worth the price alone! I've been using the jacket quite often on rides between the mid-30's to mid-40's to protect against the windchill of riding 17+ mph, then dropping the sleeves when I hit a 30+ minute climb where my body temp rises and the speed drops. The sleeves go back on at the top and I'm ready for a cold descent at 30+ mph.
So worth the money.
