Gear Review
Needs work

I've got to say first off that Gold Coast makes some nice looking boards, with decks that appear to be of fairly high quality. The deck designs are inspired, and the materials seem pretty industry standard. The shape lends itself to some pretty decent maneuverability.
The problem, however, is with the components. Upon recieving the board, it became painfully obvious that the bearings are cheap, and it's a mystery to me that they would be rated to ABEC-7. They simply do not roll. Doing a single lap around my neighborhood was tiring, and I'm in pretty good shape.
Bottom line, if you order this, get some Bones Reds bearings and swap them out immediately.
