Echoing the comments of other reviewers this jacket is high quality material and made well. As a tall/thin woman I have a hard time finding a jacket that is not cut too short and wide for me. (5'8", 125 lbs) This jacket fits me perfectly with room for a couple of layers underneath. The arms are long enough which is nice. For a woman with wide hips this jacket wouldn't work, but for someone with narrow hips, it fits great! I have used it for backcountry touring and resort skiing so far, in cool snowy and rainy conditions. I only wish it had an additional interior pocket or two, but not big deal! If you are looking for a wider jacket the OR Axcess jacket is cut very differently, and would work well for a curvier lady.
