They are a slim fitting short, but very complimentary. I'm 5'2, 118 lbs., wear a size small, and they fit perfect (not too long) and I don't find the issue with the twisting as mentioned in the previous review. Have to wear a thin chamois when cycling, but like to wear them around town by themselves. Yes, I agree they look like board shorts. I have them in black. Wish they had them in other colors but none left in my size. Got these on sale but not for the great price listed here.
