Gear Review
If only I still had it...
By Sonya January 1, 2012
I liked this knife. A little larger than I was originally thinking, but very sharp, and the locked-in mechanism is pretty savvy. This thing feels solid. I only had two problems:
1. despite plenty of playing with it and years of carrying a folder, I was unable to make this open fully on the first flick. My hands are kinda small, so I had some trouble with the mechanism. I don't know. Not necessarily a problem -- just give it another flick -- but it does bear noting.
2. The clip on this is really loose. I pulled it out and tried to pinch it tighter, and that worked kind of, but it was still loose enough to come off of my reinforced-at-the-knife-clip-spot public safety pants. It's gone. I lost it because it fell out while I was working. Maybe somebody else found it. They got a nice knife if they can get it open.
