Heed Everyone's Advice

These pedals are $15 because they are unreliable. I tested them in the parking lot and they were fine: in and out, in and out. But as soon as I started my ride, problems began to arise. The left pedal's spring notoriously stays open, even after I've adjusted the tightness several times. Talk about frustrating, but I'm not upset because I'm riding a cheeeeeeaaaaaaap bike from my college days until I can afford a new, hot shot bike. However, I did find the trick to make it work. I push it with my finger to snap it back closed, then I make sure the LARGER of the spring is facing forward (you'll notice the difference). Needless to say, I always clip in my left foot first but if the right pedal starts to go all ape$#!* on me, then I guess I'll need to hurry up on buy that new bike.
