Gear Review
Great jacket...great fit and style
By Backside Special March 18, 2011
I've had the jacket for two seasons now and it has held up great. ('09-'10 model) I wear a medium thickness base layer and just the jacket over it and stay toasty warm (0-30degrees) with the option of using the underarm vents when I start the burners on the hill. The fit is as described in the sizing chart so make sure you double check your size before you buy. Im 6'4"/220lbs with long arms and wide shoulders and I have enough room and plenty of unrestricted motion in the XXL. It is an athletic fit so if you're rockin the keg you might be stretched a little tight. But the taped seams and waterproof material has been great two years running. I had a little incident with a tree (I don't think that falls under warranty) a few months back and put a couple nice cuts in the back left shoulder but did a little duct tape special on the inside of the jacket and it still works great. Kinda wish I could have duct tape the battle wounds too but no biggie. Worth the money and a nice change of pace from the other big name brands on the market.
